Easy as email web publishing

If sharing new content on a regular basis is important and you don't want to log into your website to make updates then consider publishing with email.

Using email as part of your content creation workflow is good for short posts and photos.

An example of a content creation working using email to post stuff might consist of the following steps:

  1. Take photo of something of interest.
  2. Send email with subject, message and attachment to website.
  3. Share on social websites like Facebook.

When sending content to a website using email the subject becomes the title of the post, the message becomes the body and the attachment becomes the picture.

Why add stuff to your website and not directly to Facebook? In many cases you will want people to find stuff on your website using Google. If you post directly into Facebook then your post will not be in your website. Another reason is that you will want to encourage people to view the call to action on your website.

A real example of using email to post can be found on http://go123connect.com/discover/how-my-garden-grows where you can find stuff that interests me about what I am doing in my garden. All this is made with an iphone, a garden and a blog. Each post (email) takes about 5 minutes to take the picture and send. If I like the post enough to share then I put it on Facebook.

Why add stuff to your website using email? because it is easy.

Why not try and post something new every day with email?

Having fresh new content gives you an opportunity to share. Getting new content into your website can help you get more visits. If it is hard for you to post stuff into your website on a regular basis then consider using email to post new content.
