An important factor in the succuss of any website is having a professional web design. A website that looks professional can be what makes the difference between you and your competitors.

A good website is easy to use and gives people visiting satisfaction quickly. Whereas a poorly designed website can have the potential to not encourage visitors to read on and go elsewhere.

Websites that are easy to use are a pleasure. When you can understand quickly how to use something then you are more likely to do it. For a website this can translate into sales or whatever it is that you want your website to achieve.

Websites that are easy to use follow standards. When people search the web they have an expectation about how things are going to work. This expectation is based on their experiences using many different websites. Your website design should follow along with accepted standards. If you are in doubt about what standards are have a look at what you consider to be an easy to use website. Look at how parts of the website don't change like the heading, menu, sidebar and links. Examine the length of content and language used. Check to see how colours are used and how cluttered the layout is. Remember people search and scan. People don't necessarily read all the detail.

Get to the point quickly. On your front page make your primary website offer. On each of your pages keep on topic.
