Drupal Views Slideshow
The Drupal Views Slideshow contributed module enables you to display a number of nodes as a automatically changing show.
The query for the slideshow is generated using Views.
Slideshows can contain pictures, text and any CCK field.
An example of the Drupal Views Slideshow is on the websiteplus.com.au website just above the content on the portfolio page. In this example the slideshow shows various comments.
The procedure to use Views Slideshow is as follows.
- Ensure that your Drupal website has the Views and Views Slideshow modules enabled.
- Next create a view, set the style to slideshow and expose view as a block. At this stage you will need to set filters and the content that you would like to expose. Various slideshow effects can be selected in the attributes for slideshow style. If you would like to show pictures it would also be helpful to enable the Drupal CCK and modules.
- Finally place block on your website.
